The course does not impose a rigid schedule. You get permanent access to the recordings and learn at your own pace. Here is the recommended path, from your first contact with the content through to being ready to work with clients.
Getting to grips with the basics
- 1. Get familiar with the course format and the resources available
- 2. Watch the module on rights and receiving source material
- 3. Review the templates and checklists provided
Putting the workflow into practice
- 1. Use the licensed practice recordings prepared for training
- 2. Prepare the transcript and content map for the episode
- 3. Write a full set of episode notes and a summary
Strengthening quality
- 1. Run a quality check on the content from Phase 2
- 2. Verify quotes, links and attributions
- 3. Prepare a content package for client approval
Ready to offer the service
- 1. Define your own scope of service and terms of collaboration
- 2. Prepare content samples for your own portfolio
- 3. Set up your workflow and your pricing
Prerequisites
This course is designed for people with no prior experience in content marketing or writing. All you need is:
- A computer with internet access
- The ability to read and write fluently in English
- A willingness to work independently and try new approaches
- A few hours a week to spend learning and practising
